Bio

Adventures of a Cowboy Poet is by no means a collection of writings written by a Cowboy nor a poet, but in fact, quite the antithesis of both. You see, I rather detest most of today’s country music as well as almost all high brow poetry, so herein lies the paradox, for I do love the romanticized poeticism of adventure, and I believe the “Cowboy” has come to symbolize this best through its affiliation with the Old West, a time and place rife with adventure. My only hope is that one day rhinestones and cowboys will be back in fashion so I can "ride out on a horse in a star-spangled rodeo" instead of jumping through hoops in a three-ring dog and pony show. Giddy-up!
